Enigmail v1.4 available

I have released Enigmail v1.4 for Thunderbird 10.0 - 11.0 and SeaMonkey 2.7 - 2.8.

The new version is still pending review by addons.mozilla.org, thus automatic updates are delayed by a few days. If you don't want to wait for the automatic update, please use the download link provided below.

Changes
This version introduces a new library for inter-process communication with GnuPG that is less platform-dependent than the old library. Up to now the library is known to work on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris and some versions of FreeBSD and OpenBSD.

If you want to use this and newer versions of Enigmail for a platform not mentioned above, please start with the test provided with the Request for Testing on non-mainstream Operating Systems. Following this, please get in contact with me, such that I can include your findings (and some more!) in the code for future versions.
